  This is the story that I wrote for Finn to read tonight.

  He did a good job and now he’s drawing pictures on a copy that we printed.

  This is Bob.

  Bob is a dog.

  This is Finn.

  Finn is a cat.

  Hello, Bob.

  Hello, Finn.

  Finn likes Bob.

  Bob likes Finn.

  Finn is good.

  Bob is good.

  Goodbye, Finn.

  Goodbye, Bob.

  Science Experiment

   » ‎ Finn Henry

  Finn wanted to do a science experiment, so we did this one.

  Our question: Will a balloon float when it has water and air in it.

  Equipment: Yellow party balloon, funnel and water

  Prediction: It would float

  Method: put water in the balloon with the funnel. Blow some more air into the balloon. Put the balloon in the basin with some water.

  Observation: Yes, it floated.

  Conclusion: A balloon with water and air is lighter than water.

  The end.

  Finn has been really enjoying the Wii. He likes Mario Kart the best, but we like it when he plays Wii Fit because it has him moving about. It’s not vigorous exercise but it is improving is co-ordination a little and any activity is better than none.

  Finn is very taken with Scooby Doo. Although he finds bits really scary, he just loves it. This morning he wanted to make a story of his own, so here it is.

  Christmas

   » ‎ Finn Henry

  Finn had had a terrific Christmas. At the O’Meara’s Christmas, he ran around with his cousin Danny for hour after hour. At the Pelletier Christmas, he didn’t have kids to play with other than Leila, but he did have a terrific time.

  He also collected a massive police of toys and games. It might be months before he has played with all of them. His favourites are his massive Power Miner Lego set and Mario Kart on the Nintendo Will (the game itself was the kids’ present to their Dad).

  Night now, he is quite tired from all the excitement and having a quiet day at home watching movies and telly.
